At last! The sector has been asking the government for a long time to regularise the tax deductibility of events organised by companies. Eventually, we needed a COVID-19 crisis to achieve this, but most importantly it has been attained for the financial years 2020 and 2021.
All companies will therefore be able to deduct the costs of an event for the full 100% in their tax return, including catering costs.

Quartier Papier welcomed about 130 guests for Bidfood's Suppliers Day 2019! Bidfood presented their upcoming projects and goals for 2019-2020 in a cosy, Bidfood-tailored setting. With a good mix of presentations and delicious catering and drinks, suppliers were brought up to speed about Bidfood's plans and projects. We wish them a succesful business year!
Organized in Quartier Papier by The Oval Office, LifeScan invited endocrinologists and diabetes consultants from all over Belgium for the launch event of their newest blood glucose meter, the 'OneTouch'. FestivalChairs created two versions of their well-known cardboard stools and set them up in checkerboard motif. Because of their mobile character, and the versatility of our venue, the stools were quickly set aside for the Tai Chi initiation during the break!
On February 28th 2019, Data News elected - for the 11th time - the ICT Woman and ICT Lady of the Year. Quartier Papier served as the perfect beautiful setting for the event, hosting over 200 people and featuring an attractive programme and interesting network possibilities.

Quartier Papier was the perfect backdrop for a photoshoot for fashion label d'Autant Plus by Anne Tellier. Her new collection truly came to life in her pop-up photostudio at our venue! A perfect example of an 'alternative' use of our flexible spaces: we seemlessly transition from event space to photo studio, from TV decor to wedding venue. The possibilities are endless!
On January 30th, Artemis invited about 160 female professionals for a New Year's reception at Quartier Papier. The entrepreneurs network treated their participants to a walking dinner with open bar, and an empowering keynote by Rik Vera, titled 'Female Managers The Day After Tomorrow'. An inspirational evening in an evenly inspirational environment!

The end of summer is always bittersweet. Temperature is dropping, the sun starts to hide and holidays are well-away. And that's exactly why Quartier Papier decided to host a last summer celebration with its neighbours! Families and friends from around the block were invited to have a drink and enjoy a tour of the building, while kids had fun on the bouncy castle with painted faces.. Our open house welcomed a lot of curious nearby residents and brought out a lot of happy faces, so mission accomplished!

Grey skies didn't stop Randstad from organizing a fantastic event in Quartier Papier last week!
Randstad's employees from the Brussels region were invited for an oriental themed evening of fun. A DJ played well-suited tunes, while belly dancers entertained the crowd. Even the catering from our partner Eating Point was tailored for the evening; serving a delightful tajine. With everyone dressed up in oriental style, it was a memorable evening for all the attendees.

A group of 30 friends and colleagues joined for an intimate private event in Quartier Papier.
After everyone was welcomed in the event hall on the ground floor Soie for a reception with champagne and appetizers, they moved up to the fourth floor to the Majestic and were spoiled with a lovely seated dinner, provided by our partner caterer Foodsie.
It was a perfect evening with great food and good company.
We are excited to introduce Saar as our brand new venue manager!

Our first event is a fact!
Last week Opel hosted their sneak peek preview of the new Opel Combo in Quartier Papier. During three event days, salespeople, the press, dealerships, and customers all had the chance to witness the reveal of their newest model.
It was a great first event in Quartier Papier, organized by Opel Belgium, in collaboration with New Balls Please!
